The hotel Iliostasi Beach Apartments (adults- and gay only), especially popular with honeymooners, is located around 27 km from Heraklion (Hersonisos around 1 km, Stalis around 2 km). A sandy / shingle beachstone beach lies directly by the hotel. At the beach are sun loungers and sun umbrellas for a fee. The tourist centre is about 500 m away. A supermarket and other shopping facilities can be reached after 400 m. It is only 200 m from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants.
